About
About
JewishHub Azerbaijan is an independent project by Aykhan Iskenderov about the present-day life and heritage of Azerbaijan’s Jewish community.
Principles
- Verifiable data only: every place, date and news item has a source.
- Honest empty states instead of invented events, reviews or partners.
- Holiday dates come from Hebcal for Baku, never from fixed Gregorian dates.
- No private addresses or non-public meeting places.
- Photos only under free licences, with credit. Generated images are never presented as documentary.
How we verify
- 1Coordinates come from OpenStreetMap, checked against Wikipedia and official websites.
- 2Opening hours only as published by the institution itself.
- 3The calendar is checked against an independent Hebrew-calendar and sunset calculation.
- 4News is summarised in our own words; publication date is kept apart from event date.
Status
The project is non-commercial and not affiliated with the organizations listed. Mentioning an organization does not imply partnership.
